Be Inspired & KIDS 2...

Talking about being inspired...  here is something i found... very inspirational... a movement by a group of very talented people to bridge the world thru music... With a mobile studio.. they travelled to wherever the music took them...  

no... there is no Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake (is tat how you spelled it??) ....  with a bunch of super talented singers from around the globe...  they recorded this music video...

Blessed with... Rain...

Having the opportunity to document the solemnization of Andy & Joleen... it really make me feel so blessed as a wedding photographer...

i was struck by the good nature of Andy & Joleen...  making sure that i have enough food and water to hydrate myself... they really know how to take care of their photographer :)... oh yes... Joleen even gave me one of their wedding favour (a cute photo frame)... really sweet! :) 

The weather doesnt seem to be on our side thou... its pretty hot at the beginning and started to drizzle a little right before the start of the solemnization... But still with the blessing of this lovely couple matrimony.... we managed to pull it thru.. even with a short photoshoot... right before the storm...

A simple gesture....

Got this sms from one of my bride-to-be today.....

"Hi alvin just to say I recently visited ur blog. Your photos are getting better n better. Hee :) really looking forward to when u photograph my wedding"

 :) Sweet... this is a simple yet thoughtful msg which meant a lot to a photographer like me... It really make my day... :) like all artists... when your targeted audience appreciate your work... it give you a great sense of achievement and make you want to work even harder....  :)

This is the type of couples/clients that i am looking for.... they look at my work and not my price tag... only then will i find true meaning in my craft... :)

Feeling damn good today... :)

What am i up to????

Have been busy recently... juz finished one album.... :) ... 1 more to go... but gonna have another wedding coverage this weekend... which mean backlogs is gonna be piling... yet again... geez... no complain thou... :) the more the merrier.... so keep it coming... :P

i have also been busy looking for a new ride too... finally decided on this baby...

hopefully it will come before my melbourne trip.... cant wait to get my hand on it... :)

For now... i juz gonna get my work done and wait.... :P 

ok.. back to work... as usual.... :)

One of the nicest couple i hv met... i could only hope that all my future clients are like them... :P 

They really took good care of their photographer... Guess the least i could do is to make sure i produce good images that they can look forward too... :)

Is photo important?

hmm... what do you think??

i have friends who dont even bother abt having a photographer at their wedding.. but then again ... the wedding ceremony itself is a chore to them... juz gonna go thru it... so might as well get uncle sam or buddy wong who have juz bought a DSLR to do the job... anyway all wedding juz need a cameraman rite?..

i have also met people who went through every single details for their wedding day... making sure everything is perfect... as busy as it may be... the couple enjoyed the process of planning their once in the lifetime ceremony... n no doubt.. they gonna get a good photographer to document it before its over...

so which group do you belong to?... :)
