I was at Sentosa documenting a corporate event.... weather wasn't on our side.... or rather my side... where hv all the rain gone to?? It rained so much for the last few days... it flooded the whole Bukit Timah Road...

i looked up... i realised... geez... i shld hv brought my sunblock along...

i'm gonna be peeling again... :|

anyway.. cant wait for this coming long weekend... gonna be doing some shopping for some really cool gadget... :)

While i am working my "behind" off editing the tons of raw images... i came across this one... an image of myself... taking a short break from all the buzz.... geez.. what was i thinking??.... but i quite like it though... :P

Good Photo Doesn't Come Cheap... :)

There are many reasons why i cant maintain my rates from 2 years back... in order to be sustainable... price adjustment is inevitable... though it may not be easy...

There are many cost factors... like equipment... album... & even harddisk for storage... not mentioning the no. of hrs involve in editing (excluding the hrs in shooting)....

I have been thinking of getting more gears... a wider len... which could easily cost thousand of dollars... having more gears also meant i need a bigger camera bag... that would easily set me back a few hundred dollars... all for the sake of better images.... for me to fulfill my artistic vision... for my client... its all worthwhile... :)

So nexttime when you bargain with your photographer... perhaps you would like to think again... not that my photography are expensive... but good photography just doesn't come cheap... :)

n Yes... think i will be going shopping soon (early christmas for me)... :P

Hot Date....

Nope... i am not blogging about any hot "dates"..... =P but rather... for the past 2 days i have received at least 2 requests for 17 Jan 2010... gosh... think its really hot to get married on that day... sad to said... i hv to turn down both requests because i am already booked... the couple actually engaged me months ago...

So my dearest readers/potential clients... pls plan early and make advance booking to avoid disappointment... most of my client who booked early actually enjoyed cheaper rates... :)

Aloysius & Gwendalene... Sneak Preview!!!

October was a super busy month for wedding... finally things are slowing down a little for me to clear my backlogs... i hope i could clear all my work before the busy schedule start again in dec... *finger crossed* :)

While i was slogging thru the images.... received an sms from Gwendalene... i was told that her bunch of bridesmaids are really looking forward to the sneak preview... i dont think i wanna keep them waiting any longer... :P

Void Deck Teaser...

Had a wonderful time documenting the wedding ceremony of Aloysius and Gwendalene... both of them hv been so accommodating and helpful... climbing up chair and lying of steep slope (in a wedding gown) is no easy task.... things we do to get those beautiful images...n i am truely impressed by their "never say die spirit"... :P

You know you gonna enjoy your day when there are some good companies around... i had a blast working with the guys from Alvinadeline... n the lovely bunch of bridesmaids and groomsmen had been so helpful throughout the day... like how Aloysius and Gwendalene stated in the itinerary.. a "Wedding Dream Team"... :)
