Jay & Jessica...

Jay & Jessica actually got me thru an online forum... 

n i am really glad that i was chosen among the many talented photographers... :)

Jessica have actually requested for the song "can't help falling in love with you" by Elvis Presly... however.. i really think this version is more suitable... like how i always explain to my clients... i would need to maintain a certain 'artistic control' in order to fulfill the vision and approach that i would like to portray... 

this is precisely what makes me different from the rest... :)

Dances and Drum Beats....

Yesterday's solemnization ceremony of Jeremiah & Hema was one filled with laughter.. dances... n many colourful saris!.. :) really interesting... glad that i was there to witness this beautiful event.... cant wait to share the images.... but that's gonna take some time... :P

i am feeling the fatigue from all the late nights now... gosh... head is spinning.. :|

Pleasantly Surprised!.. :)

Had a tiring but fulfilling coverage yesterday... n i am pretty proud that i went thru the day without a meal (ok... maybe a handful of peanuts) :)... though the couple.. Chee Chong & Yvonne are really kind to have a seat arranged for me during the banquet.. only that it was taken up by a baby pram... didn't want to trouble the couple... really appreciate the thought... :)

Both of them are really thoughtful and juz like them... their bridesmaids and groomsmen are equally as fun and easy-going... some hv travelled all the way down from Malaysia... I was pleasantly surprised during the thank you speech... when Yvonne actually included me in it... really touched... :)

Have prepared the Xpresshighlight.... n as usual... its really stressful... i only barely made it... burning the DVD while i took a shower... once its done.. its time to head to the hotel.... no break at all... but i guess for such a wonderful couple... its all worthwhile.... :)

Andre & Apple...

I juz cant wait to share this... :) have been exploring new methods to present my photos... to tell the story of that lovely day... with a bit of motion (video) and still (photo).. it will definitely make things more interesting... but its not easy... having to do both myself...

For Andre & Apple... i am pretty happy with the result... though u can only tell when the couple themselves like it... so much of talking... lets walk the talk.... here u go....

did i mentioned that joleen actually have a blog documenting the preparation process of the ROM... think its really cool... good for ppl like me (unmarried) to get contact and tips... :P love  the countdown meter on her blog... both of them are together for like... 6 years 5 months 2 weeks and 1 day.... haha... *sweet*...

A Balloon Affair... Pt 2

Going thru these images... it really reminds me y i am doing this... my directions.... the way how images portray the love from the couple... the great sense of satisfaction... :)

i juz love my "job"... :P

When i thought that the balloons were flying off (without me having the shot)... it flew back into the frame... guess the balloons couldnt resist the love emitting frm Andre & Apple... :) *sweet*

A small world?...

Had the honour to document the solemnization of Jay & Jessica.... One filled with many laughters... beautiful greenery n some familiar faces... its such a small world that Jay's sister was actually the bridesmaid for 1 of my 2008 couple... n she only got to know that her brother hv actually engaged my services at the ceremony itself... :) i also found out that.. apparently.. a lot more ppl knows abt little.RED.dot photography than i hv expected.. cuz one of Jessica's friend also know someone who hv engaged LRDP... cool... wat a small world... :)

Seletar Rejoiced...

finally had some time to look thru the images from Andy & Joleen solemnization... the ceremony was held in seletar country club... lighting proved to be a challenge... coupled with the rain... it couldn't get anymore tougher... so with the very limited talent and plentiful of sweat... here are some of the images from that lovely day... :)

A Balloon Affair... (plenty of balloons)

Andre & Apple... both of them are actually the best friends of my october couple.. Ken & Pearly... got a call from Pearly not long ago and she referred both of them to me... almost didn't want to take up any more assignment because this month i am pretty much over-booked - seriously drowning with my backlogs... but after meeting up with Andre & Apple just abt 2 weeks ago... i just cant find any reason y i cant take this on...

A simple and cosy solemnization ceremony at THE Regent... topped up with really good food :P.. and a fun shoot at marina barrage (with balloons)... today cant be anymore fulfilling...
