There was once... a client asked me if i could joke around while i am on assignment... reason being.. he have seen one of the photographer at his friend's wedding going around entertaining ppl... making everyone laugh... i pondered... geez... i am a photographer... not a clown... those photos you seen in my portfolio... are pretty journalistic... i dont really tell them some dirty joke before i snap those shot.. :P if you are in this business long enough... there are some pretty strange request.. :)
I kindly explained the situation to that client... if you know me long enough.... i am really a quiet person... i would prefer to take a non directive approach... "observation" is the key to my work...
a little observance does go a long way....
Here is an image (from another wedding) of a little note that i found in the corner of the room... anyone could have just miss it... a little sweet note from the groom to his pretty bride-to-be...
btw.... i managed to convince that client... what he need is a photographer not a joker... :P that was really quite sometime ago... n yes i was their wedding photographer... :)
